Journal 5

Diigo was an interesting experience. Mainly because it was such a new thing for me to use (and I had never heard of it before). I thought it would difficult to use at first, but once I began to use it, it became much easier. The best part about it is that it allows for once to highlight important aspects of an article, which helps in understanding longer articles. Also putting comments is a good way to write down ones thoughts or add on to another person's thoughts.

Blogging is also a new experience for me. I have never blogged before, but I had heard about it. I had always dismissed as something old fashioned (and I still do, to an extent), and never gave it too much thought. I cannot say that I like blogging, but I also do not dislike it either. I'm split down the middle in that regard. What I have learned from blogging is more about what I learned about other people from their blogs. It was easier to understand their opinions on matters this way, as it allowed for me to understand what they thinking about in a certain subject.

This website/tool might be interesting to use. It is a video editing site that seems to be pretty simple to understand. By making a project into a video, it allows for students to be more creative. Plus video creating and editing can be fun and students can learn something new along the way. Overall, I think that animoto can be quite helpful in the future.
