Introduction

Hello, my name is Padrick Moran. I am currently a sophomore going for a creative writing major. I was born on August 11, 1999 in Miami, Florida, but I moved to Puerto Rico when I was very young so I do not remember much from my time in Florida. Despite my name, I am 100% Puerto Rican, both my parents were born there, with my family roots being both Puerto Rican and Cuban. Going farther back I'm Irish (my last name is Irish) and Spanish. I was raised bilingual, so I'm fluent in both Spanish and English. Some of my hobbies include consuming any kind of digital media, be it movies, tv shows, or videos games. I also enjoy reading, novels and comic books, and writing stories in my spare time. I do this to try to branch out my creativity in pursuit of my two farthest reach dreams: writing movie scripts (and maybe even direct films, but that's even farther out of my reach) or writing novels. 

Technology has always been a part of my education. At first it was simple computer classes in elementry school, to the more advanced stuff in middle school and high school. At first I wanted to pursue a livelihood in technology, but slowly realized that it was not the right fit for me. Despite that technology has played a role in many of my previous classes, be it using Microsoft Office for presentations and essays. To more advanced stuff like making a video for a high school project. Overall, in my experience, technology and education go hand in hand.

What I hope to get out of this class (other than credit I need) is becoming more experienced in the tools technology gives us. While I am adept at a lot of the tools, there is still things I can learn to make things even easier. I hope to learn a lot in the coming weeks.
